character shielder 1.8k character mash kyrielight

note The shielder tag is useless. It's her class not her name and nobody ever calls her that. Same for the combo mash/shielder doujins. They should all be under one mash category.

- 40-sai archwizard 11d ago Hey, @ranchdong a bit off-topic here, but can you make a link where all the withdrawn proposals are on display? And a setting where a withdrawn proposal name cannot be reopened by the same person? I'm looking at https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/395c99c6-fdfe-40fd-9ecd-9928c49e1fc6/ (I'll take his alibi for now) in which there is potential for abuse where users can withdraw their silly/stupid proposals that were bombed with downvotes then put up new rehashed ones in the hope they don't get bombed this time around. Gotta nip this in the bud before anyone gets any weird ideas.
- ranchdong 12d ago Taxonomy comment reports are deployed. I added a few mods as well which will prob start appearing. I plan to add more in the future, also fixed a few bugs. I'll check back in soon
- 40-sai archwizard 23d ago Please wait while @ranchdong updates the taxonomy section to include a possible report buttons on abusive comments lol. https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/34c35317-7f1a-4c25-b990-c4293586601d/

note Theres no difference, is there? Redundant tag.

- ranchdong I've thought about this for a bit and my major concern is merges are destructive and lossy. Meaning if there is value in keeping them separate then we should. If there is legit no value and just a mistake of the past then merge is fine here

- akashako 1d ago @ranchdong would it be possible to simply have tags redirect to the merged tag? That way merging is non-destructive.
- akashako 7d ago One thing to note is, on the upload site, gender bender has been redirected to gender change. It's probably too late to change anyone's mind, but it is important to know.
- 40-sai archwizard 7d ago A note from the admin: "I've thought about this for a bit and my major concern is merges are destructive and lossy. Meaning if there is value in keeping them separate then we should. If there is legit no value and just a mistake of the past then merge is fine here" If this goes through, then all the other listed gender change tags below should be merged into one as well, at the risk of potential crapping out of the new tag like what happened before with https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/be3f3228-8656-4ed9-b712-71d0bbc71d6f/. Either go all-in or don't.

- rudecru 10d ago A netorare revenge tag honestly should be added, great suggestion @fuckriri1234
- fuckriri1234 16d ago @TreeSentinel69 sounds like revenge netorare/cheating, which is proposed in many different variations left a list of those proposals here https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/5424d6bb-7887-4014-8cd0-be5ec2830f70/
- TreeSentinel69 16d ago What would be a proper subtag for A NTRing B or C, in which B & C are in a relationship?

- 40-sai archwizard 17h ago @Zedratuguir2 There's nothing magical or supernatural about your example - remove that time travel bit and you're left with just a person getting thrown into a prehistoric uncivilized society. IMO for the intended context of this tag proposal your example isn't going to cut it, just like I would label Dr. Stone doujinshi as sci-fi rather than fantasy. It's a nice read though, thanks.
- Zedratuguir2 21h ago I'm honestly "racking my brain" if this one 154114 classifies as a "Fantasy". What do you people think?
- doarcutine 1d ago @Rockman x 2nd When most people think about fantasy, Dungeons and Dragons is usually what comes to mind. If a story takes place in a medieval or ancient setting and includes magical elements or mythical creatures, that’s what most people consider fantasy. idk how useful this tag would be. Like, the main reason I would use this tag is to find doujins with hot mythical creatures like orcs, elves or onis, and I can already do that by simply searching those tags. But if the tag mainly focuses on the setting rather than on the creatures, then it will leave out works that include these mythical creatures but in a setting that isn't medieval or ancient like https://nhentai.net/g/635317/ and idk if that would be a desired outcome.

- fallentree5 7d ago Yeah smell should be an umbrella term
- 40-sai archwizard 23d ago @fuckriri1234 Ok, let's say this tag proposal gets accepted. Then what about 'ass smelling', 'armpit smelling', 'fart smelling', 'underwear smelling' etc. potential tag proposals with similar theme? What's going to be the point of the [smell] tag itself? If the current [smell] tag is to be treated as an umbrella term then it would be fine, otherwise the tag itself would be moot. With your points I'm half convinced this tag is worthy of consideration but not there yet.
- fuckriri1234 23d ago @40-sai any number of things can contain the [smell] tag: armpit, dank ass, vagina, etc a gallery can have a single one of those to get the [smell] tag while also having a [blowjob] panel. there is no guarantee that [penis smelling] is involved while i can see the logic, that query would return a lot more galleries than a specific [penis smelling] tag would

- fuckriri1234 56d ago that'd be a nice feature @ranchdong btw i left a list of tag merge proposals most of which should be easily accepted. in case you want to knock out a handful of proposals at once (i.e. existing bloat tags that should be a parody/character/etc) https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/9a272ae0-c9d6-40c3-a3c1-a7cae8659a92/
- ranchdong 56d ago I'll check and see if we can add outgoing links to socials and stuff and maybe add a specific mechanism for this for artists so for now leaving this open to track that effort
- 40-sai archwizard 64d ago Let this be on record - any describe artist description proposals that is generic and can be copy/pasted on just about any other artists with similar genre specialties deserve to be downvoted to oblivion. The only reason I haven't downvoted this one yet is because OP made a quick followup to my previous comment. Hey @Nizashi you may now edit your suggested tag description, the editing feature has been enabled for some time now.

- Osamu09 1d ago @randoomdude a moderator has appeared so it seems things are finally moving forward
- randoomdude 4d ago how long are these going to be listed as "trending", I was excited when the new feature got implemented thinking there would be a rotation of new tags being voted in but it's just been the same ones for half a year now
- The Tagger 23d ago I agree with what everyone else is saying. This tag better fits something along the lines that is related to grooming rather than what OP has described.

tag handsome bastard

Tag description A male with an above average appearance and body

note While there is the tag 'dilf', I feel an tag that is meant for a male any age to be attractive is not available yet. That tag 'ugly bastard' is known and if its not that tag, the males are either facless or just plain looking. I am creating this tag to appease the users who are female/male who wants to have an attractive female with an attractive male. If there is a suggestion for a better name, please do comment.

- Osamu09 4d ago this isn't gonna end well "ugly bastard" is a special case because even though "ugly" is subjective, the author purposefully draws them as ugly as possible. For handsome, even if the author tries to do that, not everyone is gonna agree the character is handsome And what I notice a lot of people are saying is they just don't like faceless, bald males. This is not gonna fix that, because then what about average characters?
- myankopon 6d ago Pls approve this i swear i cant screen out anymore ugly bastards in my searchbar
- The Erogaki 7d ago @theLemon haha I agree with this. Need it as that as well.

- 40-sai archwizard 20d ago Looks like everyone here would like to take Professor Stein's (Macademi Wasshoi!) lecture in Kemomimi 101. Or take a look at the links below for further reference. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LittleBitBeastly https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/LittleBitBeastly/AnimeAndManga +1 to @Digrat420's comment.
- Digrat420 20d ago "Or tail" is the only part I disagree with in the tag description, since the word literally just means "animal ears". Ears imply a tail, and a tail implies ears, but you can have one without the other. Whether the ears must be real is debatable, but it would probably be best to specify with further tags so that users can find what they want. People have specific tastes, after all. I personally don't consider a headband to be kemonomimi, but I'm also not surprised to see it sometimes referring to a headband.
- Cozusmg 25d ago @fuckriri1234 iirc most boorus use them both in tandem, which helps greatly since it allows you to either filter the fake ears out, or specifically look for them, which would be greatly useful, BECAUSE FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS I GO ONTO A FUCKING DOUJIN TAGGED KEMONOMIMI AND 70% OF THE TIME THE EARS ARE IN A FUCKING HEADBAND ITS FUCKING UNBEARABLE. So yeah a fake_animal_ears tag would be nice to have
