that'd be a nice feature @ranchdong btw i left a list of tag merge proposals most of which should be easily accepted. in case you want to knock out a handful of proposals at once (i.e. existing bloat tags that should be a parody/character/etc) create tag tags with no description -46

I'll check and see if we can add outgoing links to socials and stuff and maybe add a specific mechanism for this for artists so for now leaving this open to track that effort

Let this be on record - any describe artist description proposals that is generic and can be copy/pasted on just about any other artists with similar genre specialties deserve to be downvoted to oblivion. The only reason I haven't downvoted this one yet is because OP made a quick followup to my previous comment. Hey @Nizashi you may now edit your suggested tag description, the editing feature has been enabled for some time now.

Unnecessary and subjective. These comments you try to be as objective as possible. For authors only notes should be other names they go by or notables series that made. E.g. the author of Nagatoro should have a note say he did that.

Add his social media account, where we can buy his works, etc. At least make it easy to follow and buy the guy's work

The partially invalid description aside (because it includes opinionated terms), the general idea of it and some of the comments do bring up an interesting idea. Preferably, "Artist" and "Group" tags would enable not just a plain description, but also referencing links (where to find/support them) and tags (common associations with the artist/group). Granted, if that infrastructure were to be added, there could also be different use-cases for other tag types. Such as "Link to publicly trusted, official description of the tag" and "Related tags" (e.g. "group" telling you that tags like "orgy" and "XYZ threesome" exist)

Ngl artist descriptions should just include the most common tags in their works/tags they’re known for. So for example in this case the description would just be “Commonly associated tags: incest, loli,…” etc
