@Aelter you're 100% right, my mistake. By comparing [inseki] against [inseki] + [incest], it's clear that most [inseki] galleries also have the [incest] tag. A mere 318 [inseki] galleries are missing the [incest] tag, leading to the conclusion that:
[incest] = sex between relative(s)
[inseki] = subset specific to non-blood relative(s)
I still think we should have a blood-relatives (consanguinity) tag though. While it is true that [incest] - [inseki] only returns blood incest, the query also has a slight issue. Imagine this:
an ffm with a daughter, her mother, and her step-father. The query [incest] - [inseki] removes this gallery since there is [inseki]. However, there is also [consanguinity] between mother-daughter, which is what the query is attempting to look for
All that said, it isn't a large priority. If we get to it, maybe there's a way on the backend to copy the galleries from [incest] - [inseki] into a new tag, so we don't have to sort the 50k incest galleries manually
’incest’ IS a superset of ’inseki’
To search for works only containing ’inseki’ but not ’incest’, search for ”inseki”
Works only containing ’incest’ but not ’inseki’, search ”incest -inseki”
Containing both, search ”incest”
Easy-peasy ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
so, does "incest" include "inseki"? According to how it's been used so far, then yes
I thought about it and it doesn't make sense to include it. Like what if someone is fine with "inseki" but not fine with "incest", they wouldn't be able to blacklist incest without also removing all "inseki" works
At the same time, if someone is looking for incest, they probably don't care too much if it's inseki, but you can't search either at the same time, only one or both
It is a bit of a conundrum
@fuckriri123
"low incest", same as "low lolicon"/"low shotacon"/"low bestiality"/etc, is for the works where the tag - incest (or inseki) - is present but in very small portion of the work (just a page or a few), and not a focus of an overall work at all.
Childhood friends have it's own tag, I believe.
I don't think "non-blood relatives" suffices in this case. I think it should actually be specific to which kind of relatives this points to.
"Romantic or sexual relations involving in-law, step, or adopted family relatives." would be more accurate.
I think the end of this should be tweaked to say “family members/relatives who are not blood related” instead of “non-blood relatives”. As is, the current definition would include *any* relationship that isn’t (blood related) incest, and I’m pretty sure that it isn’t meant to be that broad.
