Tag description A male with an above average appearance and body

note While there is the tag 'dilf', I feel an tag that is meant for a male any age to be attractive is not available yet. That tag 'ugly bastard' is known and if its not that tag, the males are either facless or just plain looking. I am creating this tag to appease the users who are female/male who wants to have an attractive female with an attractive male. If there is a suggestion for a better name,please do comment.

I saw the handsome bastard suggested by vagoo long ago. I wanted to change it right away but didnt know you can edit like this haha. So heres what you guys wanted.

this isn't gonna end well "ugly bastard" is a special case because even though "ugly" is subjective, the author purposefully draws them as ugly as possible. For handsome, even if the author tries to do that, not everyone is gonna agree the character is handsome And what I notice a lot of people are saying is they just don't like faceless, bald males. This is not gonna fix that, because then what about average characters?

@lord411 You can obviously tell if a person has a different face compared to the generic copy paste face of regular male leads/ faceless male leads. The handsome bastard can have many forms and the tag is to just sort out doujins with either faceless/generic male leads

This will be a mess not only because standards of beauty can be subjective, but also because there are characters considered "handsome" or "beautiful" within the story but the artist isn't good enough at drawing to make beautiful faces. How the hell will it be decided where this tag is applicable and where not

Ah, see kapuytastx, thats is why I suggested the handsome tag. Because there was no faceless tag I can block, if I knew there was a tag already up, then yes it would be easier for me to block. Now it would seem weird if I were to suggest a faceless tag only for me to block it no? We all are suggesting tags that we wish to see and the point if i want to see an attractive male with a attractive female and not have a specific male "type" in mind, wouldnt this tag help with a general demand for that. Being to able to enjoy different characters created by the artist without knowing I would like that type of character can be a better experience not just for me but for the community as well.

But the point of the tag is meant to be specific, not broad. "Muscle" tag for muscular characters, "dilf" for dad-bods, "ugly bastard" for brute-looking types, and etc. If I want to see a good-looking, muscular male character, I would just search for ikemen + muscle, for example. Ikemen doesn't have to be slim; it seems like you're confusing it with bishonen (there is no such tag on the site, unfortunately). Respectfully, what's the point of the tag that can mean anything? It's easier to just block the "faceless male" tag (I hope mods will accept it soon).

I am giving a general term to cover all types of handsome, and while some may consider muscular types not handsome, saying most women would agree to to your preference is a an opinion afterall. There has been many women that consider the dad bods, the wide chested man handsome. Pretty types are very good looking too, and Ikemen really do just cover those types. So if Ikemen is the correct term, I apologize but I think handsome can cater to a broader audience. 😊

I like the idea, but I don't like the description. "Above average" could mean both looking handsome and "mid". Ikemen is a better term; searching through the "handsome" tag and being flooded with mid guys is killing the purpose. And "big muscular and brute-looking types" are not really attractive men at all, well, for most women at least. Sounds more like a male power fantasy. And listing "rich guy" among handsome types sounds very funny; it's not even a type among otome harems. It seems you are trying to get a tag for manly men for your specific tastes. "Macho" is a better term, maybe?

To the people saying Ikemen, I dont really specifically mean like those types. Because as my quick research has shown Ikemen are slender, fashionable and clean. By handsome, it could also mean those things, but for me handsome means, big muscular and brute looking types. The reason I have made this tag is to separate it from the faceless, ugly bastard, or just very plain face (Like no precise details on their face, stubble, jawline etc etc).

Ikemen is just an objcetivley better tag for this purpose.
