- fuckriri1234 64d ago that'd be a nice feature @ranchdong btw i left a list of tag merge proposals most of which should be easily accepted. in case you want to knock out a handful of proposals at once (i.e. existing bloat tags that should be a parody/character/etc) https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/9a272ae0-c9d6-40c3-a3c1-a7cae8659a92/
- ranchdong 64d ago I'll check and see if we can add outgoing links to socials and stuff and maybe add a specific mechanism for this for artists so for now leaving this open to track that effort

note Theres no difference, is there? Redundant tag.

- ranchdong I've thought about this for a bit and my major concern is merges are destructive and lossy. Meaning if there is value in keeping them separate then we should. If there is legit no value and just a mistake of the past then merge is fine here

- akashako 8d ago @ranchdong would it be possible to simply have tags redirect to the merged tag? That way merging is non-destructive.
- akashako 14d ago One thing to note is, on the upload site, gender bender has been redirected to gender change. It's probably too late to change anyone's mind, but it is important to know.
- 40-sai archwizard 15d ago A note from the admin: "I've thought about this for a bit and my major concern is merges are destructive and lossy. Meaning if there is value in keeping them separate then we should. If there is legit no value and just a mistake of the past then merge is fine here" If this goes through, then all the other listed gender change tags below should be merged into one as well, at the risk of potential crapping out of the new tag like what happened before with https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/be3f3228-8656-4ed9-b712-71d0bbc71d6f/. Either go all-in or don't.
rename held 161d ago

character shielder 1.8k character mash kyrielight

note The shielder tag is useless. It's her class not her name and nobody ever calls her that. Same for the combo mash/shielder doujins. They should all be under one mash category.

- Osamu09 6d ago since we're here I propose that held suggestions should be in a separate tab, that way the trending tab has more space
- 40-sai archwizard 18d ago Hey, @ranchdong a bit off-topic here, but can you make a link where all the withdrawn proposals are on display? And a setting where a withdrawn proposal name cannot be reopened by the same person? I'm looking at https://nhentai.net/taxonomy/395c99c6-fdfe-40fd-9ecd-9928c49e1fc6/ (I'll take his alibi for now) in which there is potential for abuse where users can withdraw their silly/stupid proposals that were bombed with downvotes then put up new rehashed ones in the hope they don't get bombed this time around. Gotta nip this in the bud before anyone gets any weird ideas.
