Tag description Public indecency commonly includes, but is not limited to, sexual acts, lewd conduct, and indecent exposure, regardless of whether the individual derives sexual arousal or gratification from the public nature of the conduct
note I've seen many posts get tagged with exhibitionism simply for being in public and felt like there needed to be more defined tags

@Averageneet exhibitionism on this site isn't being used like that though, unfortunately. describe exhibitionism accepted

Imagine a person masturbating or having sex under a bridge. It would count as public indecency but not necessarily exhibitionism unless one of them derives pleasure from that fact. For example, is tagged as exhibitionism but I personally would say its simply public indecency as the characters dont seem to derive pleasure simply from it being lewd conduct in public.

It might seem similar, but public indecency as a tag is supposed to stand for any public indecency, which doesnt always include a character being an exhibitionist

this might just be me, but I feel like it's the same thing. It might not be the character will to show it to the public, but it's still happening (or maybe I'm missing what public indecency means). Do we really need to differentiate such a minuscule detail?
