@9nell Just combine [exhibitionism] with [no penetration] tag and you should get exhibitionism with no sex most of the time.

And some tag likes solo exhibitionism, for when this is a solo person doing the exhibiton

I love community run spaces. Someone will always feel the need to write a thesis on how things should be done. This is awesome. Also, does @fuckiri1234 s proposal include situations in which no sex occurs? If so, their descriptions should be changed to reflect that and if not, an additional tag could be added. Really can't think of a good name tho

On this site at least, we should then adopt: exhibitionism - umbrella tag of the below tags showing off (or some other name) - character(s) derive pleasure from showing off their sexual act. Can be showing off consensually (i.e. cuckolding) or non-consenually (i.e. flashing) risk seeking - character(s) having sex with an explicit potential of getting caught by another character caught in the act - that potential is realized. at least one other character "catches" the character(s). the character(s) may or may not be [showing off], or getting pleasure from being seen public sex - same as below

The correct definition of this tag is the one that @fuckriri123 gave. That being said how this tag is currently being used is as an umbrella term for everything related to being seen or the risk of being seen. The problem of using the correct definition of this tag would be that every new hentai (related to exhibitionism) will stil have exhibitionism as default. Therefore, I think that one play here is to continue using exhibitionism as un umbrella tag, and create multiple tags such as the proposed "risk seeking or "public sex.". The other play could be, to have the correct definition of this tag, and manually change the tag of doujinshis that don't fit that description. (We would still need to create the new tags anyways)

As others have said, not necessarily genitals, and not always a public space. Exhibitionism can be wearing a really skimpy outfit in public, or insertion of sex toys in a public space while fully clothed OR Livestreams where the streamer performs sexual acts to an audience, while technically in a "private space" These are just a few examples, but the point is that the description needs more breadth

For the context of hentai this one doesn't work as much. I'll try though - "Exhibitionism is the umbrella term for the act of exposing one's intimate body parts and/or having sex in a public/semi public space or in front of a large audience. The classic usage of the term in hentai media has the intent of bringing fear, embarrassment, shame or arousal to the naked subject." Describing exhibitionism in more concise terms can be difficult as there are many variations - there is the classic roshutsu, there is zenra, there is the "invisible" exhibitionism, etc. For simplicity's sake I used the classic wiki definition combined with 'forced exhibitionism' subgenre which is I think is more common especially in classic hentai anime. Mods can cut off the second sentence and the description suggestion above will still work.

Not only the genitalia. And the public space part, not sure about it. I don't think is an absolute, even if is the more common idea. "The act of exposing oneself or others in a sexual context." Or somethink like that is more appropriate, but not quite the best wording possible.
