ima keep it a buck im so over discussing lolis, just call it child-depicted or pre-pubescent and be done with it regardless, do you mean to say that height & head to body proportion are your qualficiations for loli? if so, then every shortstack character would be a loli. they're not

@idunnouguess Loli characters are defined by appearance primarily and age and personality are completely irrelevant. Saying otherwise is completely wrong.

but on a more serious note, it's not just a childlike body type, but a child like demeanor and attitude. even the "mature" ones still exhibit childish behaviors at times, usually as a gag, but it's still there.

On the contrary, shouldn't lolicon be for works containing a "lolicon" character? Your definition is perfect for "loli" but that's not what a "lolicon" is. Lolicon literally derives from the novel Lolita and historically has only featured prepubescent girls in japanese media. Don't muddy the water on its terminology, especially since petite adults exist, but don't have a child-like demeanor.

I'd just add "prepubescent or pubescent appearance". But it's a better description than the other one I saw so far.
