tag crossdressing male
Tag description Used to describe male characters dressing in female clothing
note Might as well complete the gendered tagging for crossdressing. Related proposals/tags as well as further reasoning for this tags existence in the discussion

@lord411 fair point. There generally exists more "traditionally feminine clothing" than "traditionally masculine clothing" so it logically follows that [crossdressing male] would be more popular (which it is). that doesn't mean [crossdressing female] is non-existent though that said, i'm not terribly familiar with [crossdressing] as a whole, though a quick search for [crossdressing female] returns pg12 . this is a better question for the [crossdressing female] discussion where other users might be more familiar either way, i'm mainly here to follow a) site conventions and b) what other users seem to want

Is "crossdressing female" even a thing? Women wearing pants and tshirts isn't "crossdressing", it's just normal. Then "crossdressing" would simply mean " crossdressing male"

before anyone mentions how redundant this is, consider this: [dark skinned female] has already been accepted and there's another proposal for [dark skinned male]. [glasses] is similarly being split into [male glasses] and [female glasses] The demand for gendered subtags is present, and the precedent has already been set. Yes, there is some redundancy in such a system. However, I think quick searching & seemless site navigation is a larger priority than optimizing computer memory/space. Anyways describe crossdressing +225 create tag crossdressing female +35 (mine) create tag crossdressing male +26 [crossdressing]'s current definition is wrong, it should be an umbrella term for any character dressing in the opposite gender's clothing. across these links, 12 users agree with this sentiment, and only 2 passionately dissent
