list of related proposals here create tag common sense alteration +214 @yyyk it seems we need two separate tags, then. 1) when character disobeys their established norms and 2) when the norms in the story disobey our real-world norms for #2, there are new proposals like "normalized taboo" "normalized incest" and "commonplace sex" where our societal norms are completely disregarded (like the sex island example u gave) for #1 we have a "tricked" proposal for a character that was convinced, against their contextualized common sense, to go against their own "society's" norms granted, "tricked" encompasses much more than that, but I believe i've seen another proposal specifically for this scenario. i'll paste it when i find it

I think a better way to word the description would be "Works where the common sense of characters is outside of the norm in regards to sex or relationships. Can be a result of hypnosis, mind control or even spontaneously divergent." Trying to think of how there are works sometimes set in some island/village in fuck knows where, where their community just works on sex 24/7, and personally I think they still fit as common sense alteration?? But then again it might be better to change the tag name to "altered common sense" if pre-established divergence also fits... idk

Someone already suggested it as "common sense alteration" I think. Honestly at first I was kind of thinking it wasn't necessary, but now I'm second guessing myself and I think it might be fine
