Responding to aelter, not really? I've seem some stuff that can fall into gray area so it can't be so black and white. While I was searching my previous comment I actually find some example of that: #479485 | Sennyuu! Gakeppuchi Spy no Shakkinhensa… | 13,165 is from a author that seems to be focused on male audiences but this one seems to stand out because, repeating what i said before hot males + Female pov and pleasure(and also what Ciph said about more male screen time), even tho it doesn't seem to have received any different treatment from other works of them. But to be fair, yeah this can help a lot when populating the tag on the beginning, but can't be a long term thing since some stuff would be left out that should be tagged. I can be wrong because I'm writing this half asleep so idk.

Too tired rn to describe this convincingly with researched examples, but would like to just mention that it's very easy to know if a work fits this tag by seeing where+how the manga/doujinshi was published/advertised/sold/promoted/anthologized and so on. It's like black and white, super clear

"the waidan" is a group that has many works that will qualify. I'm not sure if "Sexercise" will fall into Josei since it doesn't seem to be pure female fantasy. Josei works usually involve handsome males (often muscular but not always), and are portrayed in the work with roughly the same or more screen time as the females. These sort of works also show their face more often during sex.

All examples have distincts tags but have some similar things(focus on female pov + pleasure, hot guys and have more lore than usual) so it would be nice having a tag to tie them together.

From my understanding josei is the standard tag for this but I'm not familiar can we have some examples of this content?

Continuing my previous comments, there needs to be a name for ero-content that encompasses all female-targeted hentai. Including previously mentioned 'redikomi', yet also 'teen's love' and 'joseimuke'. To me, naming this tag 'redikomi' or 'joseimuke' would be an approvement. Shojo hentai (aimed at teens) do exist though. Maybe the best solution is to just name it 'female-targeted hentai' or simply 'female-targeted'? I do hope this concept gets accepted! I am 100% certain about that!

'yumejoshi' is closer, but still not a homerun. Way better than 'josei' though. My point of view stems from the western animanga demographic tradition: shonen, shojo, seinen, josei, kodomo. The term 'josei' is just "animanga works targeted towards adult women" to me, and it feels weird if we were to implement demographics into the tagging system here.

I've desperately looked for a tag that gathers female oriented hentai. I think 'Josei' is one the most known tags and could serve its purpose, it is time for women to have a space in this site too.

4chan /h/ board as a general called "yumejoshi/femporn" that is basically that, works oriented for a female audience. I feel like Josei and those terms are still too blurry but this would an excellent addition to the tag pool.

Theres an easy way to figure out if its being sold on dlsiite There is a whole seperate section for women which contains only woman oriented works If it's labelled as josei there it should be here as well

Seems like a tag prone to abuse and subjectivity. Not very descriptive either. If you're so sure something is targeting female audience , first find some real exclusive commonalities between them, and suggest those as tags. They would be more descriptive, and functionally do what you're looking for (not as well obviously, but you want a magic solution for a subjective problem).. Not opposed to the purposes of the tag existing but no faith it's going to be used accurately.

I like the idea a lot, but I'm not sure "josei" is the most appropriate term. Maybe "redikomi"? Or maybe change the description to "Hentai targeted for an adult female audience." You have my upvote nonetheless!

I love josei so it would be great to be able to find them easily.
