tag blasphemy
Tag description Works that sexualize and/or mock religious elements (especially from Christianity). This may include clothing (nun's robe, hijab, kasaya), artifacts (crucifix, prayer rug, Buddhist mala), places (chapels, mosques, monasteries), or names with significant religious meaning.
note To advertise to those who like and warn those who are uncomfortable with that kind of element in a Doujinshi. A good example of this tag is 398647, which is the main reason why I'm making this tag but not the only one.

"Blasphemy" is more fitting as pointed by @yyyk

    -religion mockery
    +blasphemy

Oh, the tag proposal name has been changed. OP is amicable to suggestions at least. @Haiko Hosuo The tag name you're looking for is 'sacrilege'. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacrilege

@yyyk, and everyone who wants to help. I was looking up for definitions of blasphemy, and etymologically speaking, it refers more to hateful offenses directly against God, such as cursing or denying Him. But most people understand blasphemy differently (myself included); I'd like to be more precise. If anyone can help me find a better term, I'd be grateful.

@webcomicreader A parody is different from direct disrespect, as in the example on the note. For example, using a crusifix as a dildo is not a parody, but a blasphemy. I would consider as a parody works like Saint Young Men. I think "religion mockery" assumes both parody and blasphemy. @yyyk That said, I actually like it a lot. This tag might work better as "blasphemy." I don't think "religion" would be that useful for a tag, though. At least, I am yet to see any original Doujinshi that includes religious elements without sexualizing them.

What about “religious parody?”

I can see where you're coming from and where this tag could be useful, but "religion mockery" is a bad way to define this/a bad tag. A plain and simple "religion" would be better if you're talking about the simple mention of religiousness, – or you could go for "blasphemy" if you're looking to define strictly when downplaying/mocking the religion is central to the story. My main "gripe" with this, though, would be that in a porn site there is seldom any mention of any religion that is *not* blasphemous – so it feels weird to be so specific about it. If you get what I mean?

@fuckriri1234 I'm really, really sure that sucking a dick while praying counts as religion mockery... But as I said, I get @40-sai archwizard's point, tough I would like to see any other example of what he's trying to convey. Anyways I'm just proposing a tag and suggesting where to use it. To my understanding deciding if a Doujinshi gets it or not depends on the community.

@40-sai archwizard She's literally sucking a dick while praying... But I get what you are saying. I'd like to review another example.

I wonder whether the 'mockery' bit is necessary at all, like should just 'religion' be enough? may indeed be mockery, but I find to be less mockery and more the emotional turmoil of a maiden torn between upholding duty and falling in love.

@Osamu09 In response to your question, yes. And I'd say it's a very large group. I live in a very religious city in a very religious country. I myself am a devout Catholic, raised in a Catholic family. Almost all my friends are Catholic, Evangelical, or of some other denomination. Almost all of them watch anime, play video games, and consume a wide variety of multimedia content. Almost all of them know and use this site or others. I once found a bunch of Dragon Ball doujinshi on the computer of my uncle, a 40-year-old man, a very devout Catholic, married with children. All kinds of people like all kinds of multimedia content, even if they don't agree with it and would scold you if you talked to them about it. It's the most natural thing. We live in a very globalized society, and we all have needs; especially these kinds of needs. Besides, we're all sinners, you know?

I myself am not religious but when I was a child I was taught Catholicism, I often went to church, I believed in God and even went to something like catechism school. That is to say that I do understand some things about religion Still I have a very obvious question. Would actually religious people use a hentai site? It's not about masturbating being a sin or anything. It's just that most of the hentai show very immoral and questionable things. Even if you were to only look at the "safe" stuff, how could you ignore the fact you're still using a site with tons of immoral stuff such as "rape" and "lolicon" Sure, some religions such as buddhism and shintoism are much less strict, but honestly I doubt most of them would really be bothered by religion mockery So yeah, my question is still the same. Are there even enough people that use nhentai that are bothered by religious mockery? Because I really doubt it
