I'll copy my description suggestion from the 'vanilla' comment thread here as well: "A heartfelt story with consensual sex throughout and a happy ending, oftentimes featuring romance, making you feel warm and fuzzy inside."

I hope the mods see the comments on the vanilla suggestion and approve this one instead of that one. Also I believe the name and description are good enough that we can let the masses decide whether this applies to a certain gallery or not, so the fact that "wholesome" is kinda subjective should not be too big of a deal.

Upvoted. Although you can exclude NTR when searching (e.g. -tag:netorare), I feel wholesome is more than just "not-netorare." Some argue for "romance" tag, but others have pointed out romance can be bittersweet. "happy ending" can apply to stories with a tense start. "vanilla" is just too non-descript, it can imply so many things like nothing abnormal and not just wholesome. "wholesome" explicitly implies warm, cozy, and comfortable to read throughout the story from start to finish and it may or may not include romance and may or may not be vanilla. I feel having separate tags for each ("romance" tag, "wholesome" tag, and "happy ending" tag) would better describe the nature of the work being tagged. Thoughts?

I think this should be a tag. You can blacklist tags such as ntr or rape, but you still won't get wholesome works because then you also get vanilla stories. Vanilla, while being similar, is not necessarely wholesome. For example, i wouln't call #574337 | Shrine Maidens of Injin: Mating Ritual… | 40,049 wholesome, even though it doesn't have any "bad" tags.

I dont have anything against wholesome as a tag but claiming that netorare and netori cant be wholesome is generally wrong, though netorare is admittedly not wholesome at all most of the time.

Just blacklist netorare and netori, if u want to wholesome stories
