note No tag exists for characters who are lolicons. The current "lolicon" tag only refers to the type of content.

I think you are misunderstanding the point of the tag, it is intended to be used when it is specifically mentioned that a character is a lolicon. This helps find works that explore fantasies related to being a lolicon instead of just anything that involves sex with lolis. Scenarios where you get teased for being a lolicon, your little sister finds your loli porn stash, etc. Lots of loli works don't even include the word lolicon anywhere, and it's kinda arbitrary whether the male insert has any strong preference or complex towards lolis.

I don't see a reason to add it. If you're looking for just a single loli you can add "solo action" to the search. If you're looking for a lolicon protagonist remove "solo action" from the search. I don't know if a loli or shota could be considered lolicons, but I think that's neither here nor there. Point is if you're into lolis there's likely gonna be a lolicon, if you don't like lolicons just add "solo action". If you're into lolicons that's just too many layers of weirdness
