@pleromadagoat The story is actually very interesting because there is no actual downfall. She remains in a systematic loop of self-hate and fear of losing Takumi. Had no understanding her body is traumatized and believes she is ruined by actively being forced into Dissociation to survive the assaults. They built a good character and showed trauma mind/body split. There is a lot of details in the iconography, topography, hiragana, tatakana, panel layout and bubbles which are all subverted.

@pleromadagoat No problem. "Alright. Come to East wing In front of the faculty bathroom. No one hardly comes there."

@MortalObserver so what does he say in the text message and sorry for making you do this for me
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@pleromadagoat When you see the symbol by the phone it is "snatch" taking her phone, the black jagged bubbles woth white text are force/involuntary. Her response to him treating this as her surrender. "This was... this was not my intention." Then there is hiragana being used there, then he ask her a question and it switches to tatakana afterwards, mind/body split.
pleromadagoat
pleromadagoat
@MortalObserver what does he say exactly and this is all so interesting the amount of detail the story goes into
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@pleromadagoat "Can we meet up for a bit." It is written in Hiragana as a confrontation, basically to end her self hatred, confront trauma. He responds in a mocking tone.

@MortalObserver can you tell us what the last text message says because you said she sent it to end her suffering and her rapes her so i just want to know what it says

@phoenixx262901 Actually it is. That is why you need to understand Japanese and manga layout. It's intentional, english flattens everything. I can't explain it to a person who can't read. Might have to make a video explaining ntr bubble/seinin bubbles and manga panels. If you read in english you're losing whole sentences. The sad thing for people who wants English, or the people who don't understand manga grammar would never see the true story, no offense to you, bro. You fall in the category of superficial readers that fall into the trap they set for some of these panels.

@RDH Randomly Depressed & Horny When you understand trauma you understand what happened. Apparently off screen her and Takumi by the last time they had sex they done it a ton and she was fine, her body only remembers trauma and is scared of intimacy because of Yuusuke. Every touch will always be a response to trauma, she can't feel gentle and gain any response and she as the character does not understand this. Her love and loyalty to Takumi fuels the narrative he finds out she would lose all reason to live and would not go to Yuusuke, no need to face the blackmail that has zero control. If you understand bushido you understand what happened one month later, you understand trauma you will see all of the story. No more guilt, no more power, but trauma cuts sex for her off and in a realistic setting she would hate sex for a awhile until fight and flight is done. The other side of this story is when Dissociation ends and if the trauma cause is near her she would kill him, lose her mind.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@RDH Randomly Depressed & Horny She is jealous of her body that is responding while she can't with her boyfriend. At the very end the square spike bubble and everything you see is the Somatic responding to Yuusuke, you'll see her saying "this was not my intent." Hiragana "Y-yes, that's right even though I love him... he isn't enough. I need a strong, violent man." This is the Somatic response to his question in 75, the square with the spike represents under topography. A forced response to the abuser, in which is shown in the two panels, it is intentionally separated to get you thinking she submitted. The background is her mind. "Takumi, I am so sorry.." it goes on to the body responding like it's a robot waiting on command.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@RDH Randomly Depressed & Horny If you want me to ruin the horniness the story is weaponizing her loyalty to coerce her into self guilt. She is strong, fiercely loyal, and loving. Not one panel she talks about Yuusuke. Not even the end, she sees her body in the phone as another person this is Dissociation at work. It has nothing to do with size. It had everything to do with violence and pushing her body into fight or flight in which she knows nothing about and interprets as her moral collapsing in the end she tried to confront her trauma and Yuusuke weaponize Somatic response.
MortalObserver

@RDH Randomly Depressed & Horny English translation will never be right. You have to understand Japanese and manga paneling to get the story. Learn. Hiragana, Kanji, Tatakana, topography, iconography. Look at what every single thing means on the panel and you'll understand. If you're going to use AI make sure to explain that it is under ntr (psychological narrative.) And you want to understand everything I just put here. That would have the AI throw out all tags and focus on the panel visualization itself.

@Trichiya It's implied that Yuusuke was the one who vandalized the school's dojo as a part of the scheme to get the kendo club to use his personal home dojo, as a way of trapping Kaori. Whether or not the teacher had anything to do with it is left up to speculation.

I just realized, what happened to the "someone vandalized our dojo" plot point? Who did it? Was it the blond guy? Was the PE teacher involved somehow, having dirt that the blond guy used to make him do it or something? The PE teacher just appeared during those panels, clearly lust after Kaori, and that's it! That's just it! What? I don't care about the punk hitting on Kaori during the last date, but the PE teacher was given an implication that he was somehow part of a bigger arc!
GeminiAspros
GeminiAspros
Finally it's over! . Kaori is hot, the art is good and the sex scenes were good. 'The story' was what you'd expect from a ntr and the ending was quite predictable. It was clear that it'd be similar to 285624 if you had read it before.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@waldo3364 Don't be too upset. If you can read Japanese she wasn't corrupted at all. In the english they will mess this up on purpose. Context. Trauma induced involuntary, her mind and body are split. She is severely dissociated. She remained loyal and how this stop is for Takumi to find out and the abuse stops because there is no leverage, or when Dissociation ends while the rapist is near her and she kills him, that is the only two options in reality. Her body is doing "fawning" mind gets pushed away to save itself, body "fawns" to appease the abuser so they don't cause anymore harm. It's a shit plot, and bad all around. However, her core character remained, it's psychological horror.

@surumeotoko Her body is under somatic. This one has a very dumb plot, but look up the bubbles, the letters, she didn't deserve this at all. Out of all the ntr, this girl is entirely innocent. Weaponize her love and this shows how evil the antagonist is. The artist knew what he was doing showing this, the english translation won't get this right at all. It's all over the panel pages, somatic body is so fucked up. Body reacts to abuser and says what the abuser wants it to say while the real girl is in her mind protected and saying everything else and can't feel anything. Dissociation is crazy, numb... everything is numb until your mind takes your body back and then violence.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@surumeotoko This is not standard Netorare. This is Psychological violence and horror, she is dissociated. Her love and devotion outweighs everything, she has no romantic feelings, or anything towards Yuuseke, profound hate yes. She is traumatized and her body, brain, and Mind is entirely split. Her body is on autopilot, everything in the panels will tell you. All the specific bubbles would tell you. After Golden week she has been with self hate and dissociated for a month back with her boyfriend if you don't know what that is... a trauma induce pressure cooker until she snaps and kills. The point of the story is her love and devotion is so profound she did everything to protect him. Everything I told you is in the panels, backgrounds. NTR changes the spikes and everything. She had no enjoyment at all, the final scene she tried to confront him, the phone is the proof, she is sending a cold and confrontational message to end her pain and he rapes her, her body is somatic. Husk no mind.

Takes this many months and years to complete a few final pages with mediocre ending holy shit. But it’s finally over, maybe the real ntr was the friends we made along the way

The longest-running NTR manga series were *Kimi no Na wa* and *Maison Ikkoku*—lasting nearly 15 years and spanning over 10 volumes—whereas this one took years just to cover a few pages. I didn't quite understand the ending—my Japanese is still poor—so did she leave her old boyfriend, or is she still with him and only seeing Yuusuke to satisfy her libido and desire for pleasure?

@ShadowMist The "Id" represents primal, instinctual desires and drives. Dissociation isn't the Id taking over; it is a defensive, numbing fracture of the consciousness triggered by extreme trauma.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@ShadowMist If they care enough to translate right. It's just better off learning how to read Japanese, but we will see. This story has no actual decent ending, her loyalty and love is being weaponize. She loves Takumi and loyal to him endless loop until Dissociation ends and she snaps, in real life when dissociation snaps and force her to feel everything, hate, etc majority of trauma victims tend to kill. PTSD is one of the main ones in which she has.
ShadowMist
ShadowMist
@MortalObserver Like Ego being overwritten by Id, right. I hope that we can get someone competent at translation like cutegyaru/head empty to translate the rest to get a better understanding of the dialog.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@ShadowMist She doesn't crave it, disassociate makes you have zero feeling. In order to get all of this you have to read Japanese, understand everything. The ending and reading the phone would tell you the truth as well, basically a confrontation because of how it is written, he rapes her, that is what we get. She says it during the raw sex, there was nothing but a man and female beast. There is a kanji there that says 'Sanity and logic gone, which mean the body has no mind.'
ShadowMist
ShadowMist
@MortalObserver Wow. An actual, well thought out, character analysis...especially on this website. I'm impressed. And you're right. You can actually see the instances throughout the manga when Kaori begins to disassociate (her eyes going blank), especially toward the end; such as when she's staring at Yuusuke's dick as she's being tempted into raw sex with him or when she's ignoring Takumi's phone call in favor of more sex with Yuusuke. In each instance you can see her disassociate from what she loves and knows is right in favor of giving in to what she craves.
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@Trichiya They can't. They written themselves in a wall because her whole point is dissociation, she isn't there and her body is acting on it's own. Self coercion because of mind leaving, Takumi is her everything and self guilt leads to this endless loop. If Takumi leaves because he found out. She would never remain in the loop. That is the point of it. She text and it is written as facing her fear and wants to beat the dissociation but self guilt and Takumi finding out breaks the psyche. Mind says no body responds. Yozo understands psychologically self destruction and dissociation. That is what's good, plot is shit.

It’s important to "wake up" and be reminded that the world of doujinshi is a place for netorare fans—I mean, just look at the art; the scenes, angles, women, every detail in NTR works is so well done.
Trichiya
Trichiya
@MortalObserver the plot is shit, yeah. Unless the author makes a completely separate doujin just about Kaori and the yellow hair dude (just to see Kaori more).
MortalObserver
MortalObserver
@Trichiya If they care enough. There are ways the Kanji is utilized to express and show she never betrayed her boyfriend. Everyone of those scenes and lines have to be done right to get the actual character other than the brain dead plot. Yozo was a genius in character creation but the plot skewered the storyline. I hope the humans do it right.

@MortalObserver I meant to say human translators. I've had enough of AI schizophrenic translations.

How many years did this doujin ran? Two? Lol 10/10 art (This is what I care about cause woman expression is the shit for me personally. Story- idc But seeing how even NTR lovers hate this says a lot on how dogshit the writing is I don't even have to read the translated version to know.

Alright guys, playtime's over. Move away, please. Let translators handle the rest. That aside, I'm more disappointed that I won't likely see another well-drawn character such as Kaori. If the author is making a debut on SFW manga and drawing a female character, there is chances I would notice just from how much I like the artstyle lol. But bruh, people asking for sequel? Have you guys not learn?
