tag ladies first
Tag description Female character taking the lead in initiating sexual interaction. Not to be tagged with females only content due to it being self-evident.
note I like seeing female characters having agency, and want an easier way to find it.

My intention for this tag isn't about who makes the first love confession but who initiates sexual interaction. To help illustrate The guy confesses first, but the girl initiates the sexual interactions. An example of a work were the "ladies first" tag would be appropriate but not the FemDom tag . As a bonus if this tag is combined with -femdom in a search the results tend to be, but not limited to, works that are often wholesome or funny because it helps signal that female character has some agency in the initiating the sexual interaction.

The 'ladies first' tag name suggestion is a bit misleading as it is the phrase traditionally used by gentlemen. 'Josei kokuhaku' or 'female love confession' might be a closer term you're looking for. In the real world love confessions might not lead to sex immediately but hey, in the context of hentai logic it almost always will be.

@King_of_D It's definitely not "just femdom". In fact, trying to find more works were the female initiates that isn't femdom is one of the reasons I proposed this tag. For instance, it could be a female childhood friend who's tired of waiting for the shy guy to make the first move, but isn't trying to dominate him.

@jjmcm My initial title for the tag was "female initiated" but I thought "ladies first" had a nice cheeky ring to it. I see this tag as distinct from femdom, which is more about power dynamics/BDSM. "Assertive female" could work, but I thought focusing the tag on a specific action instead of a personality, would make it easier to identify when to tag.
