note People may not be familiar with the word as they are with the words 'doujin' and 'tankoubon'.

Good suggestions. If I were to fix the description, it would be "An omnibus; a compilation of previously published separate volumes (tankoubons) into a single book.
"Omnibus" would be a better tag, probably.

Isn't a tankoubun a volume? One that usually contains several chapters within already? Wouldn't it make more sense to say previous doujins?

I'm surprised this tag got created already! Why???
I know it's a JP term, but why wouldn't we just call the tag 'omnibus', OP? In other words: why is it necessary to go with the JP term in this case? I sorta think I'd be raising a rename tag proposal, but curious about its history if anyone can enlighten? I certainly don't encounter it so much that I'd prefer it over 'omnibus'.
