note bathing room sounds communal and closer to a more "bathhouse" tag (which there should be). shower room makes more sense

I actually disagree. You say "shower room" I'm thinking gym locker room. Barring that communal setting I don't have any clue what you intend "shower room" to mean. Conversely knowing these works are mostly japanese I know that they have a bathing room separate from the toilet.

we don't need a bathhouse tag, onsen works just fine
