Tag description Works that weren't made as a product, but as an way of tell an story through the media of doujinshi. Works that make the sex just a tool to tell a story. In general, works that you wouldn't fap to, be it because of an profound story and message, or because of an really unusual and superb art that make you think "this guy shouldn't be here writing porns".

note Examples: #510788, #648717, #564485, #599876 Doujinshi isn't just porn, is a media device that can show great stories, and unless you, by luck, discover this types of doujin, it's gonna be completely forgotten in the database with no way of searching it, that's why I propose this tag as a way to save those type of works.

Sounds horribly pretentious

Incredibly subjective. I do think the upvotes/downvote system on tag suggestions would take care of that though.

So I'm sure we've all experienced clicking a story based on the thumbnail finding out it's one of the worst things you've ever read and then down in the comments it's full of people spamming "peak." This tag is too subjective.

@h2016 im really bad with names smh, I thought of "Poetic Porn" too, but I didn't want to diminish the impact that the art (drawing) can have in the storytelling, so I used art-porn instead. And yeah, "thought provoking" is much better lol

I appreciate the idea. I do need this tag too, but I'm not sure why "art-porn"? At first glance, I thought something like sexualize an object. Does "thought provoking" work for you? Also, a tiny typo `as an way` => `as a way`.

@Rafugapu fair enough, I was really having a hard time myself trying to make the description sound less subjective, so it makes sense for it to not get a tag. I haven't seen yet this "plot-heavy" suggestion, but I think it gets through what I want better then putting everything in "story arc", bcz a great part of the doujins that I'm referring don't have an "arc" to get into the tag ik

Despite I understand what you means. But I think it's pretty subjective. Because all doujins can be as fap material, but also can be inspirational or beautiful. For me some "uko" works for me are inspirational, but was made purely for fapping. If story mostly about the story itself without sex scenes. I'd put in them into a story arc. Or "plot-heavy" from @lenga

First, the name of the tag is open to changes, I also thought about "poetic porn", but it would dismiss works with an really exotic and great art out there. Second, I want to clarify the differences between "doujins with great art" and "art-porn". I know that this things are subjective, but if you see the examples I put on the notes, there's a pattern on all of them, they all have this mature vibe into it and the characters are alive, have concerns about life, take their own decisions, struggle with it. It doesn't HAVE to be philosophical or smth like that, if it has an incredible art and tells a story that makes you entertained enough to not fap to it then it's on! It's about appreciating the art media itself, like a painting.
