well, he actually got a point. I believe this tag got downvoted for a few other reasons. 1. the name feels wrong, it should be "anus dilation". There's no description and the note also doesn't make sense. I believe this might all due to the OP non being a native english speaker So I would like to either reopen the discussion or help reject the suggestion According to what I could find (aka chatGPT), "gaping" does imply the anus has already been penetrated and can't return to being closed. Which means a tag like "anal dilation" (or any other similiar name) would be either a broader tag or a separate tag that would imply it's not "gaping". So we have 2 options. 1. we look for examples to reach a better conclusion. 2. we use "gaping" as an umbrella term, which I think could work just fine

Anus dilation would be better. This would be for when the anus is opening up the anus is being opened to prepare for a sex act. Gaping is for after a sex act when the anus does not naturally return to a closed position.
