@Osamu09
It shouldn’t necessarily be the old uploads that become irrelevant. As a recent example an AI slop translation, #656626|Mukashi Kara Otokoppoi Osananajimi mo C…|49,273, was uploaded six hours after an actually good translation made by humans, #656556|Mukashi Kara Otokoppoi Osananajimi mo C…|15,257. For whatever reason, the site’s algorithm put the AI slop on the Popular Now section of the homepage, giving it much greater visibility, resulting in it getting about 26k favorites, while the human translation is sitting at about 8.5k. If we had a way to indicate that it was an inferior reupload, maybe that would help push back against this sort of thing. (
@Osamu09 Tbh, part of this was because of works like that Digimon one that keeps reappearing when nothing has changed. If all of these get tagged as incomplete, I could blacklist them all and settle for that. Thanks for the comment anyways.
The idea is good, but the execution wouldn't work. It's old uploads that become irrelevant, not new ones. And honestly there's not much you can do about that. It's just part of the nhentai experience
