@FreshH20 They have been kinda slow lately at approving/declining new tags and descriptions. At first they where approving alot at a pretty fast rate but have slowed down to like 2-4 a month.

@HorsieBoi: The penetrator's pose >0 criteria though, and being too upright turns the position into a piledriver. Parallelism is preferred, it's very important for the --[PRESS] part, and somewhat important for the [MATING]-- part as well. There are 𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 of the mating press where the penetrator is perpendicular (or at least >20°), but in the standard mating press he is parallel. Sidenote, mating press is also always horizontal with the penetrator on top, again strengthening the concept thesis of the sexual position. Mataing press is not about the male being upright or parallel necessarily. It's about the receiving partner's leg position being up toward their head, with the giving partner's hips higher up. they're not perpendicular. Perpendicular is when two lines intersect at a 90deg angle. Mating press is missionary but they are laying together. If anything, they'd be parallel.

We should just use Wikipedia's description of it, it's way more descriptive and actually gives a mental image of what the position is. Mating press is a sex position that usually consists of one participant performing downwards sexual penetration into the receiving partner, often holding their legs down or around the head. If you've seen that position being performed or are just very imaginative you will know exactly what that describes

Quite a bit of the doujinshi tagged with [impregnation] has this position in fact.
