Tag description Characters who are canonically trans or transtion to another gender in their stories

note More specific than "Gender Bender" (that includes body swap) and "Gender Morph"/"Gender Change" (Characters who just turn into another gender for the "plot" rather than being trans)

@nhentaitac if it is at all possible can you make tag creation proposals for "transgender (mtf)" and "transgender (ftm)".

I really want this too, I dislike reading stories where a girl with a dick is described as a futanari or a shemale, or where a guy is transitioned for plot pourpuses, so I search for trans girl content but its literally unsupported by the site as of now. I have to keep searching reddit forums to find names. A transgender woman is a individual who was born male and transitioned to female out of their own will because it what fits them best. Futanari doesn't describe them, because they don't have a pussy as well. Shemale doesn't describe them, because usually shemales are born with a dick and are accepted as girls outright (no transition) or have it magically transformed. Gender bender doesn't describe them because gender bender has tropes about magic and sudden transition without someone's will. Tomgirl is just a man and treated as a man. This is part of the fetish, I want to read trans girls who are transitioning and have sex with people who accept them despite it.

The more I think about this the less I can see any reason not to include it. Shemale, futanari, and tomgirl all fail to encompass what this actually would entail.

I agree with this. I made a proposal to change the description of the trans tag, however merging it into this once created would probably be the best course of action. also the site has many people who despise transgenderism so it also gives them a blacklist tag

YES! I was looking for a suggestion like this. We really need this tag :( PLEASE. I just hate when people throw characters like Bridget (from Guilty Gear) or that girl from JJK (I forgot her name lol) into the yaoi tag. Other option could be always adding the "futanari" tag for doujins including trans girls with no genital surgery and "cuntboy" for transman, but it's a more complicated solution both for the uploaders and the readers.

This would make sorting through gender bender, gender morph, and all the other vaguely trans tags

I'm not against the tag itself but I kinda worry about having both transmasc and transfem under the same tag from an archiving standpoint... but then again, I believe I haven't seen any actual tmasc characters here, so.

as much as i love porn where characters just have nonstandard genitals without further elaboration, sometimes i want to see porn specifically about trans characters, yknow

If "transgender" didn't get approved just merge trans, "shemale" and "Gender Morph" all into "Gender Change" if you want to keep things simple.
