tag growing up
Tag description A character gradually matures from childhood into adulthood over an extended period of time.
note When I scroll through the 'age progression' tag, I often see works where a character instantly ages from a child or teenager into an adult. Of course, that use of the tag isn't wrong. However, I was looking for works where a character gradually grows from childhood into adulthood over the course of the story, rather than simply aging up instantly. I think a separate 'growing up' tag could help distinguish these two types of age related stories.

I mean, this is a bit of an odd tag. Because as you mentioned there's already "age progression", but basically you want a different version of the same tag. That's gonna be hard to accept. Also most hentai are like 20 pages on average. That's why we have "story arc" and similiar tags if you want a longer story with progression. I think combining that with "age progression" is enough. At most you can add a "shotacon"/"lolicon" tag so it's not just gonna be one page at the start. Actually that kind of work (suddenly an adult in just one page, especially without anything sexual) shouldn't count as "age progression" in the first place. But what you're saying seems to be a lot more than just that, like you want a year by year progression or something, which paradoxically I think would make more sense. Because at least it's not as vague
