note It is easier to search, she appears as just Nero Claudius in most type moon media, "red saber" can be confused with "saber of red" (Mordred), it becomes easier to relate to "Nero Claudius bride". It just makes sense and could be merged with "red saber | nero claudius caesar augustus germanicus" which is a terrible tag since it seems like we're getting rid of most character tags with "|" for different names.

(4) Addendum: I don't even want to think about the mess with pseudo-Servants. There are even now works featuring Ishtar and/or Ereshkigal that are also tagged with Rin Tohsaka. I mean, uhhh, technically? But also no? That is Hell we are walking into.

(3) Olympian Nero even at a quick glance has several works featuring her, either exclusively or with other variants. Same applies to Summer Nero. Perhaps when searching for Nero Claudius works, this level of granularity is just too much, it would require using multiple tags at a time to get all variants included, which is obnoxious. I would love to hear other opinions while this tag is open. Also, I genuinely think a forum of sorts would be a fantastic addition to the site, so we have a place to discuss exactly these kinds of over arching decisions, so that mods have a clear community sentiment for decisions.

(2) 1. Keep only the first variant as a character tag, group all variants there. This would be by far the simplest solution, but we sacrifice the option of searching for a specific variant. There is also the case of some variants becoming so wildly popular that they warrant their own tag. For example, Saber Alter. I don't think anyone can argue that her tag, already populated with over 300 works should be merged with the saber tag. So a cutoff line would be impossible to hold, it would honestly require a moderator well-versed in the franchise to stay up to date almost as a full time job to draw this kind of line. 2. Create tags for every variant. This is by far the highest effort option, it would require a massive community effort, but we're in no rush, we could do it in time. But another problem arises: some variants are genuinely so close to each other, to the level of just being different clothing, that it would pollute the tags. Also, as a more general discussion point with these tags, specifically for gacha games since this is a phenomenon there (I assume it's for all, I only play FGO though), the same character has multiple versions. Right now, there are a number of tags making this distinction, in this case, we also have the nero claudius bride tag. At the same time, if we were to add every single variant there is, not only will we run into naming issues (some of them are fan named short nicknames, or their name changes based on ascension). I don't know what would be best here, I see several levels of granularity we could do as a community:
