What I meant in the note is that the cheater, the one in the relationsip, usually takes a more passive position in the narrative. Be it netori, netorare or netorase, the idea of the taken character having sex with someone else usually comes from the one that's single. In the case the one who goes after another is also already married the tag would already be applied.

I'm a bit confused. Do you mean that the character is actively lying to their spouse? Because in the note it kinda reads like the character is cheating with a character that's already dating (or is married to) someone else
