It's a niche thing for sure, but very attractive and distinct. Generally it's a simple gesture of complete agreement happiness and content, weather enforced or sincere. While not as straightforward as filming/posing, it's something that could be used in different contexts, like here # / # 40p or here # 78p / # 149p.
