I think it's fine, "While enrolled in school" implies that it is a uniform made to be worn while in school not that it can only be worn in school. Nobody would say a schoolgirl outfit isn't a schoolgirl outfit because she's a drop out in a love hotel or something like that.

"while enrolled in school" is unnecessary. Some stories have them wear it without actually being a student.
