@rmjeans1313 Multiwork series can be a continuous story or be a collection of stories that have similar elements or themes. It can be any of the things you said, except on-going. Think The Twilight Zone, most of the stories have no relation to each other, but share similar themes. It can also be like Harry Potter, one long story over multiple works. And it can also be what if scenarios, but these are rarer. Any of these things can fall under multiwork series, if they are made that way.

Description is a bit confuse to me, since it didn't clarify if this is the continuous of the later stories, or like a multiverse/what-if version of the on going project. I think putting them tag as prequels/sequels or on-going work would fit the description better

I usually see this tag when an author make a series of it, for example #609645 | Imaizumin-chi wa Douyara Gal no Tamarib… | 29,798 . well... this example is a compilation of this series because individual entries were nuked.

For example, all of the Futabu galleries would be marked as "multi-work series".

If galleries have an interconnected story/progression, they should all be marked with multi-work series, I'd say.

A bit confused on how this needs to be defined. We have a ton of galleries that are connected to other galleries that show story progression, but don't know whether this needs to be used on all galleries within a series or not (would definitely be a problem if we're talking about Mikami Mika's brother-sister series lol)
