tag bad end
Tag description Ending in a negative way, an un-optimal outcome. Typically involves something tragic or undesirable happening to the main character. In reference to video games, where the player arrives at a "bad ending" upon finishing the game but isn't completely successful for some reason, as opposed to a good ending.

create tag happyending -2 my same argument, not every reader is going to be happy to have the ending spoiled by a mere tag.

Let's make it so that if both the mmc and the fmc are [sad/have their life ruined(unwanted marriage, children)] it is considered a bad ending

Slightly ambivalent about this tag proposal. I do agree this is a discrete trope and "bad end" actually is what it's commonly called but I think the name makes the tag inherently subjective and prone to mistagging. Not all stories that end in lowercase "bad endings" for the protagonist should be a proper uppercase "Bad End", but at the same time unless you limit it strictly to fantasy/video game settings where the trope is specifically invoked, the line becomes super fuzzy. For example, is a rape story where the protagonist surrenders willingly to enthusiastic mindbroken bliss a Bad End? If so this tag would overlap with like 90% of the rape tag; if not that opens a whole new can of worms about what exactly constitutes "bad" in a hentai context.

Yeah, a lot of hentai out there deserves that tag.
