tag casual exposure
Tag description By one or more characters, complete or partial nudity is treated as normal, natural, and incidental rather than shameful or overtly sexual, especially in situations where it could be considered inappropriate or embarrassing. The character does not seem to be primarily seeking attention or sexual gratification, though their nudity may cause arousal or flustered reactions in others.
note Nice little tag. While there is some overlap with exhibitionism, which I think is being wrongly used for this purpose currently, there's a nuanced but significant difference in intent and framing. Exhibitionism involves deliberate exposure for attention, reactions, embarrassment, and sexual gratification. It's meant to be provocative, and often invoke strong emotional/sexual reactions from the perpetrator (either confident or shy/shameful). In casual exposure contexts, this is mostly by others.
