I think it may be better to edit it a bit to: "Features a male character of above average height that is significantly taller than their peers."
... As this trope is oftentimes a way to make the partner look small rather than to satisfy someone who simply likes tall people. It's also used mostly, if not exclusively, for non-loli/shota stuff since that implies a height difference by default – so I used "peers" to imply a similar age range.
