tag enthusiastic consent

Tag description When all characters clearly and positively consent to all sexual acts throughout the story

note This tag has far more stringent standards than what it takes to not be tagged with rape, because sometimes you want to read the most morally upstanding porn on the planet

I think implicit consent is all that's needed tho, don't need reality to affect the place where I go to escape from it

Irl yes, but it doesn’t really matter as a tag. It’s about the attitude of the people involved

Is "enthusiastic consent" different than "explicit consent"?

For an actually realistic description, given that we’re on a porn site: the characters are fully awake and aware of the situation, and give clear verbal consent.

For an obnoxiously formal definition: consent must be freely given and fully informed by all parties for all acts, and can only be given by individuals with a full understanding of the situation with an unimpaired mental state, and must be communicated clearly at all times.
