tag parent post and child post
Tag description Parents posts = The original (part 1) child posts = sequels or spin offs (part 2 3 4 etc)
note This isn't really a tag more like a site suggestion for easier navigating like at the top of the tags it will say "this is a parent/child post would you like to see the original/sequel(s) click here" and it brings you to a group tag (pls make group tags group up works with multiple sequels)

We’ve already got the “More Like This” section, that shows thumbnails of stuff with similar tags. Maybe have a “Related Works” section based on that feature’s code, that only shows up if the “multi-work series” tag is there and populates the links with works from the same author with similar titles. It wouldn’t be perfect, but would still be very helpful, and wouldn’t require any major changes to the site.

I agree with faaresemo, I'm sure everyone would love to see something like that implemented but it would require a good overhaul of the entire site so unlikely to happen any time soon sadly.

I can definitely see the use case for this, especially with some of the older uploads where they often aren't even posted in chronological order. only issue I see is that there's not much infrastructure on the site to support that at the moment, and it took this long for us to even be able to edit tags
