Isn't it just cheating?

In a netori (NTI) story the main character will screw someone's love interest against that someone's will who'll hate it. @faaresemo A cheating MC is just cheating.

so I was about to help with the seeding, when I realized that all the ntr works I like are neither netorare nor netori by these definitions do we have a term for when it's from the perspective of the one being stolen? would that just be cheating even if it's got the ntr vibes?

Redsling is correct. Netori is a work where the MC has sex with someone in a relationship.

Invoking the emotion of betrayal and jealousy in the protagonist Netori: When the protagonist is stealing or taking away another character's significant other romantically or/and sexually. The difference between these two is the perspective of the protagonist. Netorase: When the main love interest is in a relationship with the protagonist or a main character and is in a sexual relationship with another character, but they know about it and even allow the relationship to happen. They even encourage it. Cheating: When the main love interest is already in another relationship with another character, but they are not in the story, and just mentioned or don't really find out about it.

I like redslings description. I don't know a ton about the intricacies of all the ntr variations so please confirm that redslings is good?

Yeah, Shadowbanned comment is right, Netorare is being stealed, Netori is Stealing and Netorase is asking the lover to give it to another.

You would be incorrect biste1122. Netorase is for stories where one character engages in sexual actions with others at the direction of their partner. Netori is for works where the MC "steals" the partner of some other character.

This already exists, it's called "netorase"

I would love for gendered NTR tags to be a thing. I'm not generally a fan of the genre as a whole, but I absolutely love when a girl steals a girl from a guy, and having a quick and easy way to find that would make my day

Honestly, it's baffling that this tag doesn't exist yet so I second this. Also I agree with @destrouwu

Maybe add male and female tags with netorare/netori to be more specific. Like someone in other suggestion wrote, male netori / female netorare would be male mc stealing a female and female netori / male netorare is for a female stealing a male.

I think the description is too vague, the stuff in the note should be added to make it clearer. Just highlight the fact that it's NTR from the perspective of the bull in the description.

Netori needs to be it's own tag & seperated from Netorare. Netori has nothing to do with Netorare because Netori is about the MC taking a girl or love interest back & not becoming a Cuck

Netori needs to be a tag. It's odd that netorase became a tag first when it is far less significant than the difference between ntr and netori.
