I remmember a tag in (the now dead site) "Tsumino", that was called Dojikko (ドジっ娘 ou ドジっ子), that means the same as a aihead character as well.

Naive and airhead has overlaps but different ultimately imo. Airhead refers to those that is just empty on their head, no thought like a cat While naive refers to those that believe in something but reality says it's wrong, an experience issue if you will imo the difference lies in their thought process, airhead has none/basic while naive has some but their assumption is inapplicable due to the lack of experience, if you will.
