Propose new tag: taxonomy tag

Tag description A request to nhentai to add to this site's taxonomy page a new type with a label (like "Discussion", "Taxonomy", or "Meta") that can be used as a way to ask taxonomy related questions, such as clarification on approved tags, edge case scenarios, etc.. Ideally the "Discussion" type could have it's own tab [or an option to filter it from the other types], so that questions could be asked without cluttering the section for specific tag creation/changes.

note Meta proposal for a new type label so that users can get public feedback on taxonomy related questions.

Definitely see some value in more centralized discussions. I don't wanna explain the origin of nhentai tags in the comments of every single suggestion for example, but that's still crucial knowledge for understanding how tags work and what they mean.

@Osamu09 Some questions aren't about specific tags but are questions about the taxonomy and tagging system in general. I think the "taxonomy" label would make it easier to find answers to some of the general questions and help reduce different users asking the same questions that have already been answered, without having to get lucky and find the answer in the comment section of a random tag. Ideally because a topic with this label isn't something that needs to be voted on they could be filtered from the backlog instead of clogging the system with questions/suggestions labeled as tags.

yeah but that's what I'm saying. What's the difference from the current comments? Admins can still interact if they want to. Heck, you can even comment on already accepted/rejected suggestions

I didn't say anything was "wrong" I simply think it would be a useful addition. 2. As with anything admin has the final say, and can ignore any and all comments, although I will say that for me being able read and to share comments is one of the reasons I like nhentai.

I'm surprised this is getting upvoted. I mean, for 1. I see nothing wrong with the current way it works. 2. the admins barely interact or resolve posts, so I don't see them being interested in further discussions

I agree, I wanted to put out a similar request actually but I ran out of proposals. To add to this I think also a general site suggestions taxonomy would be pretty helpful. I have some ideas that I think would improve the Taxonomy and GTS backlog
