lingerie can also be a sexy bra, stockings, garter belts, etc. the proposal is a little more specific, but quite frankly unnecessary imho

So this is what lingerie is. At least it's supposed to be. Lingerie is specifically for under wear that is made for being appealing to look at rather than comfort or functionality. I don't understand how you want this to be different.
