tag tomgirl 22.0k tag femboy
note femboy is the more popular terminology and is easier for people to search by this word then type tomgirl, its also usually mistaken with tomboy which is a woman dressed up like a man. Hopefully the community agrees on this and the change takes in effect

Tomgirl has to do with behaviour, whereas femboy has to do with an aesthetic. A tomgirl is a boy that likes dolls, baking cookies and love letters. Not necessarily a homosexual. A femboy is a boy that takes the sexual role of a girl, while dressing as a girl. Always a homosexual. They are two very different terms and exchanging them suddenly, would make a lot of uses of the tag inaccurate. For that reason i oppose this change. Make a separate tag instead, if you must.

The wider net uses "femboy" already, changing it will make searching for that content easier.

"femboy" is far more vague term that has other meanings and doesn't directly or specifically refer to the trope of 男の娘 or "trap" characters. "tomgirl" was a term invented in an attempt to translate 男の娘 itself and possibly to replace the term "trap".

Yh, Feel the same way here. When started using the site I would tend to confuse tomboy with tomgirl😅. Also on any other 🌽sites such as the biggest one being rule34.xxx femboy is the word thats used so it makes sense why it would be a great change here too👍
