tag rapey
Tag description Technically not rape, but really feels like it. There's consent, but it comes in the form of coercion, manipulation, or blackmail. The unwilling participant doesn't resist but isn't exactly on board either. One example of rapey without blackmail is 551463

I feel like the name 'rapey' doesn't communicate enough but I would be in support of this or some coercion or manipulation tag for the many scenarios where characters are manoeuvered into sex by means other than explicit blackmail. e.g. lost a bet or contest with sex as the agreed-on prize (conditional consent), sex to pay off a debt, sex out of sense of obligation or to make up for something, sex on a dare, sex due to social pressure (character doesn't feel like they can say no to a character with very high status or authority even though she technically could; character doesn't feel like they can say no given the social situation around them) or sex because another character has some special capacity to have sex they otherwise wouldn't (sex license, etc.) I'm not sure the reluctant tag would cover it either, there would be a lot of overlap but imo with what I'm talking about here the focus is on the power dynamic, not just whether one participant is reluctant, which is broader
