tag mischaracterization
Tag description When a fandom as a whole (in terms of tag votes) collectively believes that named non-original characters are represented in a way wholly uncharacteristic of their character, to the point they may as well be a new one.
note You know when you're reading a doujin for a specific girl you like in anime or manga, but front to back they act in a way you can't reconcile with their established canon to the point where it turns you off? Not a huge fan of that.

I get where you are coming from with this tag but if this became a tag pretty much every doujin on this site with a character that is from a video game, anime, and/or manga would need this tag. Like the guy below me said, characters being OOC is pretty much always needed for that scenario to even happen to them. If a character appears in a hentai doujin is pretty much a given that they are almost always going to be OOC and mischaracterized.

Characters being OOC is pretty much a necessary matter for 90% of scenarios to happen. This is redundant.
